Contact: support@rifterfantasy.com

Article 1 β€” Purpose and scope

These General Terms of Sale (hereinafter the "GTS") govern the sale of digital goods (card packs and any other paid content) offered on the RIFTER website (hereinafter the "Site").

Any purchase on the Site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTS as well as the Terms of Use (ToU).

Article 2 β€” Products offered for sale

The Site offers packs of virtual currency (hereinafter "gems") for purchasing digital card packs that grant special effects within the fantasy league game. These goods are digital content with no physical medium.

The essential characteristics of each card pack, including applicable drop rates, are shown on the relevant product page before the order is confirmed.

Article 3 β€” Prices

Product prices are shown in euros (€) including all taxes (VAT). The publisher may change its prices at any time; the price applied is the one in force when the order is confirmed.

Article 4 β€” Order and purchase process

The order is placed in the following steps:

  1. Selection of the desired gem pack on the Site;
  2. Review of the order summary, including product characteristics and price;
  3. Confirmation of the order and acceptance of these GTS;
  4. Secure payment via the payment platform;
  5. Order confirmation sent to the email address provided by the user.

The publisher reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute relating to a previous payment, suspected fraud or breach of the ToU.

Article 5 β€” Payment

5.1 Accepted payment methods

Orders may be paid by:

  • Bank card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) via Mollie;
  • PayPal;
  • Apple Pay.

5.2 Payment security

Payments are processed by certified third-party providers (Mollie, PayPal). The publisher never stores the user's bank card data. Transaction security is ensured by the payment providers in accordance with applicable standards (PCI DSS).

5.3 Invoicing

An order confirmation serving as proof of purchase is sent by email to the user after each transaction.

Article 6 β€” Delivery of digital content

Purchased digital content is made available to the user immediately after payment confirmation, directly on their account.

Article 7 β€” Right of withdrawal

7.1 Principle

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express agreement and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.

7.2 Express waiver

By confirming the order and immediately accessing pack content, the user expressly acknowledges waiving their right of withdrawal in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

This waiver is collected at checkout via a specific checkbox.

7.3 Exception β€” manifest error

In the event of a manifest error or proven technical malfunction preventing access to purchased content, the user may contact the publisher at support@rifterfantasy.com so that a solution can be provided (reallocation of content or refund at the publisher's discretion).

7.4 Account suspension or deletion in the event of abusive chargeback

Rifter reserves the right to suspend or delete a user's account, without notice, in the event of a refund request or payment dispute (chargeback) initiated with a third-party payment provider, where the corresponding digital content has already been credited to and used on the account, and where no proven technical malfunction of the Rifter platform is the cause of the request.

Article 8 β€” Random drop mechanics

8.1 Prior information

Packs sold contain cards awarded by random draw. The probability of obtaining each card or rarity is communicated clearly and accessibly on each product page before any purchase.

8.2 No guarantee as to content

Purchasing a pack does not guarantee obtaining a specific card. By purchasing, the user acknowledges having read the drop rates and accepts the random nature of allocation.

8.3 Publisher commitment

The publisher undertakes that displayed drop rates are accurate and applied in good faith. Any change to drop rates will be communicated to users before it takes effect.

Article 9 β€” Minors

Any purchase by a minor user must have been previously authorised by their legal representative. By making a purchase, the minor user declares that they have such authorisation.

The publisher cannot be held liable for purchases made by a minor without their legal representative's consent. Legal representatives are invited to supervise their children's online activity and to set appropriate parental controls.

Article 10 β€” Legal warranties

In accordance with Articles L.224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, digital content supplied benefits from legal conformity warranties. If a lack of conformity is found, the user may contact the publisher at support@rifterfantasy.com

Article 11 β€” After-sales service and complaints

For any question or complaint relating to an order, the user may contact the publisher at: support@rifterfantasy.com

The publisher undertakes to respond to any complaint within 10 business days.

If a dispute is not resolved amicably, the user may refer the matter to consumer mediation. The competent mediator is: CM2C.

Article 12 β€” Applicable law and jurisdiction

These GTS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the consumer may bring proceedings before either the competent French courts or the courts of the European Union member state in which they habitually reside. For disputes involving professionals, the courts with jurisdiction over Montpellier shall have exclusive competence.
